Wow.

I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve posted something here that wasn’t about football…so anyway, my fantasy team won this week.

Joking. Although they did win. And the football gods smiled upon me, as Deuce McCallister broke his leg or something, and he’s out for the season. (You may remember him as the guy I traded away for the terminally underperforming Kevin Jones).

At any rate, that’s not the point of this. What is the point of this? Well, see, I have a funny story to tell you about phones. Turns out, you can spell shit when you type with them and….

Kidding.

So anyway, most people that have blogs have them for one of two reasons: either they need a place to stash their horribly cliché emo poetry, or they’re trying to tell everyone how funny they are. So, along those lines, I’d like to present the following poem, for your consumption:

Salty Lines
by Jeremy Abramson
The salty lines trace grooves down my cheek.
As I taste her bitter flesh,
my mind wanders.
And really, what is the deal with airline food?

Sigh.

So we’re getting to the point. I promise. The point is, if we’re all trying to be funny, what’s more funny than poo? SOME people don’t think poo is funny. Some people also don’t like things like “laughing” and “fun”. Hell, some people are members of the Taliban. But we don’t let them stop us, do we?

Anyway, so I was driving to work and saw this truck. Not just any truck, this was the truck. I pulled along side of it, as best as I could, and busted out my trusty Samsung a890 camera phone. The following photo resulted (click on it for a surprisingly hi-rez pic):

You know how they say “it’s funny cuz it’s true”? Well has that ever been more true than now? This truck was a prophet. Okay, I don’t even know what that means. The point is this was one awesome truck. Bigger pile does equal bigger smile! I mean, a tip of the cap from every guy who’s ever screamed accross his house “Honey! Take a look at this!”, only to be met with abject horror from his signifigant other when she realizes she’s been duped into scoping out a particularly large turd. You can’t even imagine how I felt when the truck made a left turn and I saw, emblazoned on the side panel: “Got Shit?” I mean, the sheer genius! Got Shit? Bigger Pile? C’mon now, people…if that’s not comedy, then what is?

But it’s the little things. Honestly.

So who cares if it’s a stupid debris hauling company. The point is, POO IS FUNNY. Or, it’s at least as funny as phones that’ll fuck up what you want to type.
