So, if I had to list my accomplishments, I’d have to say the following image ranks some where between getting my Masters in Computer Science from USC (above) and winning BOTH the “Challenge Of The Minds” tourney in 1996 and the UC Davis College Bowl tourney in 2001 (below).

You’ll be seeing a lot more of this in the future, I’m sure, but I just wanted to unveil it now. If you had any idea of the process it took to make it, you’d wretch.

Fuck it, I’m into making people wretch. Here’s what I had to do:

1. Take a movie of me doing the motion with my digital camera
2. Try to convert it to any number of reasonable .AVI formats (and fail miserably)
3. Download a frame-capture program
4. Play the aforementioned movie (now in some wonky .WMV format, thanks to Windows Movie Maker) in Media Player
5. Frame-cap the movie, while it’s playing
6. Import the NEW movie that I just made (from the frame-capping) — which is now in a friendly, frame-by-frame .AVI format — into Jasc Animation Studio
7. Crop it for length
8. Output to animated .GIF

Mix and let simmer, and you have the following piece of goodness from heaven. I know, I know…it’s glorious. How could something so otherworldly awesome grace a mere mortal’s webpage? I don’t understand it either. But sometimes a higher power comes down and shines his grace on us all. And this is what results:
